My twin sister gets married next month, and her maid of honor, one of my jobs is to plan the bridal shower and wedding favors for guests. I must say that I am eternally grateful for the help of my mother and grandmother in this event. As a "non-traditional" family, I had no idea what I was doing! With the help of the women in my family, I had a lesson, and quality time with their families.

One of the more tedious aspects of a brideshower favors is to prepare for guests home with them. Of course, you can always go into a store and buy pre-made for, but we decided to do ours. In the end, may be more convenient, however, and you will have the satisfaction of knowing you created something that people will remember.

My mother and my grandmother began to sew white swans with plastic sheeting and his son. All swans are restored, thus forming an opening to an extension of the swans, and the wingswere glued to the outer edges.

The material (several swans) are the following: a pair of scissors, circular pieces of fabric, a type of candy or sweets (preferably something with a candy shell to less damage due to melting) and tape.

I suggest you cut sections of the first tape. Therefore, they are prepared and ready when needed.

Place a piece of cloth on a flat surface and a pair of candy in the center. Gather the fabric together tightly aroundsweet. Connect the pre-cutting the ribbon around the web (optional accent – use scissors to curl ribbon through the construction of the road on the edge of the tape) and inside the swan. It 'so simple!

A great idea for favors are thank you cards. You can buy pre-made cards with a hole in one side, or you can create your own. Be sure to include the phrase "thank you" and the names of the couple. Tying the ribbon around the candy, a node. Then paste your thank you note with the tape, and tie another knot. It saves the guest of honor at the task of sending thank you cards after the shower.

It took about two hours to my mother and I had about fifty of these favors (after the swans have been prepared in advance). I really enjoyed the time with my mother and my grandmother, and favors will be a bachelorette party for my big sister!
